Hurricane Storm Panels are currugated panels that interlock with each other to form a strong protection against the devastating winds of a Hurricane.
Storm Panels
There are two types of installations to choose from:
Direct Mount
DIRECT MOUNT INSTALLATION:

Panels installed directly on the wall using concrete anchors and stainless steel screws.

When panels are off, the screws are tighten to to wall for clean look.

When panels are on, the screws are loosen so the panels can be hung.
PROS/CONS:

Direct mount give wall a clean look.

Hanging and securing panels before a hurricane is time consumming since all screws have to be loosen so that panel can be hung
Track: Header and Sill
HEADER AND SILL INSTALLATION:

"H" Header Track permanently installed above the window.

"F" Track with studs installed below the window.
-
Panels are inserted into the header and secured on the bottom by Wing Nuts into the "F" track studs.
PROS/CONS:

Installation is faster and easier than with the direct mount configuration.

Heater and Sill tracks are a permanet installation on the window and can not be removed in the off season.
